as with most of your other work, i am awestruck that you defy the general rules of art so well. rarely ever is it a good idea to cut a piece in half with noticeable contrast, as you did in this piece. but you used the unusual composition to convey a theme, and thats awesome. i used to think (a long time ago) that photography was "cheating" because the photographer had to put very little thought into a picture. i mean, how hard could it be to push a button? you prove me wrong every time i see a new deviation of yours. anyway, i really like this piece. +fav oh nice new avatar btw. it caught my eye XP ttyl

oh its been a while since ive seen you do something, and the wait was worth it :D this is a lovely shot, i love the concept behind it, its been portrayed very well with the black and white contrast, and the subject holding the umbrella shows the caution-and being prepared for "half and half" even though they are standing on the brighter side
